Undergrad was a different world for me coming from the college athletics background. And this is kind of been more refreshing experience for me. It's much more focused. It's much more tailored into like things that I'm personally interested in. And the faculty are super helpful, they want you to succeed. They're all personable. They all care about my home life and things that I've got going on outside of the building. And it's just been an absolute refreshing experience.
One of the things that that I am involved with here at the school is the Student Government. I am on the Student Bar Association. That's something I really enjoy. I've always kind of wanted to be in the leadership top role. Some of the courses are really love while I've been here, criminal law stuff I actually didn't like a lot more than I thought I would. But I've always been attracted to the torts, the personal injury side of things. It's really interesting. The class is fun, the professors find super excited.
There's a Peer Mentor program that allows you to reach out to someone that has been there has done that I'm actually a peer leader myself, just making that transition a little bit easier when you're kind of uncertain in the legal writing things that you don't really know to ask about when you com here.
As a local Knoxvillian, I'm right here. I want to stay close to home and as an identical twin we we both have a dream to practice together... Just getting to be close to home, my dad is a graduate of LMU actually also so I'd like to stay around here and find an opportunity in the corporate business setting. Something around here would be fantastic and I'd like to serve the greater Appalachian region.
